Two hurt after serious, two-vehicle crash in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY (WITI) — The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash that happened on State Highway 33 near County Highway AY in the Township of Herman Sunday evening, December 28th.

The wreck happened just after 7 p.m. Officials say a 25-year-old man from Brownsville was driving county on County Hwy AY and entered the intersection at State Hwy 33. A 65-year-old Wauwatosa woman was driving east on Hwy 33 when the vehicles collided in the intersection.

The Wauwatosa woman was cut from her vehicle and flown to Summit Hospital by Flight for Life helicopter. The Brownsville man had to be extricated from his vehicle — he was taken to Beaver Dam Hospital by Beaver Dam Paramedics. The conditions of the drivers are not known.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team.
