State Senator Paul Farrow submits nomination papers for Waukesha County Executive

PEWAUKEE (WITI) -- Sitting state senator and candidate for Waukesha County Executive, Paul Farrow (R-Pewaukee) has submitted his signed nomination papers to the Waukesha County Clerk’s Office. Farrow and his campaign collected over 850 signatures, surpassing the 500 needed to be placed on the spring ballot.

Farrow released the following statement after turning in his completed nomination papers:

"Over the last three weeks, it has been a pleasure meeting with residents of Waukesha County and discussing the opportunities that lie ahead of us. I have been humbled by the outpouring of support and encouragement I have received from so many that I have met with. For the next three months, I look forward to meeting with many more to outline a vision for the future of Waukesha County and how we will make our county the economic engine of Wisconsin."

Submitting nomination papers with the appropriate number of signatures is the first step in being placed on the spring 2015 ballot. If more than two candidates file the needed paperwork, a spring primary will be held on February 17th, 2015.

The spring General Election is set for April 7th, 2015.

Farrow is seeking to replace current and long-time County Executive Dan Vrakas, who did not seek re-election and will be retiring in April of 2015.
