Two suspects taken into custody in Glendale following theft from Kohl's store in Brown Deer

BROWN DEER/GLENDALE (WITI) -- Glendale police say two suspects are in custody after the Kohl's store in Brown Deer was robbed on Wednesday, January 7th.

Glendale police say following the theft at the Kohl's store, two suspects fled from the scene in a vehicle. The suspects were then seen in River Hills and Bayside -- where police say they fled from law enforcement officials trying to get them to stop.

Eventually, the suspects ended up in Glendale on Green Bay Avenue and Glendale police used stop sticks to disable the vehicle the suspects were in.

The vehicle -- a van, slowed down just north of Green Tree Road, where the passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot to the west of a small strip mall.

The vehicle's driver was taken into custody by Glendale police.

Officers canvassed the area with the help of a K-9 officer -- searching for the second suspect.

Glendale police were able to locate the second suspect and take that suspect into custody in a neighborhood west of the strip mall.

Both suspects have been turned over to Brown Deer police.

No further details have yet been released.
