Nicole Koglin visits Seattle's Pike Place Fish Market; tries her hand at "catching" some fish!

SEATTLE (WITI) -- In addition to CenturyLink Field -- where the Green Bay Packers face the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks this Sunday, January 18th -- there's one place in Seattle every Packers fan must visit -- the famous "Pike Place Market."

Pike Place Market is a public market overlooking the Elliott Bay waterfront in downtown Seattle. The Market opened August 17, 1907, and is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States.

When you're in Seattle, you've gotta eat seafood, right?!

The Pike Place Fish Market is an open air fish market located inside the Pike Place Market was founded in 1930. The fish market has a crew of fish mongers who THROW fish to entertain customers!

The typical process is the customer orders the fish, a fish monger calls out the order, another staff member shouts it back, and then the original fish monger will toss the fish behind the counter for wrapping.

Occasinally, they'll throw a foam fish into the crowd of shoppers.
