SEATTLE (WITI) — The Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks will go head-to-head in the NFC Championship Game at CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Sunday, January 18th. It’s a game you’ll see ONLY ON FOX6.

Sunday’s meeting will be the third time the Packers and Seahawks have met in the playoffs — it’s the first time for the NFC Championship. The Packers won the previous two postseason matchups against the Seahawks, with both games taking place at Lambeau Field.

Here are some other notes on the Packers — courtesy of

  • The Packers are 3-2 in NFC Championships and have won the last two they played on the road.
  • Including the postseason, the Packers have won their last three games and eight of the last nine contests.
  • Green Bay and Seattle were the only teams to go 7-1 over the final eight games of the 2014 regular season.
  • The Packers made the postseason for the seventh time under Head Coach Mike McCarthy, and in each of those seven appearances, Green Bay has faced at least one team that it played during the regular season.
