Packers pranksters: Fans makeover one of Seattle's famous statues in green and gold



SEATTLE (WITI) -- Packers fans are sending a clear message to the Seahawks in Seattle!

Before the sun came up on Saturday, January 17th, balloons and decorations came out -- hoping for a sneak attack on one of Seattle's well known neighborhoods.

The mission? To makeover one of Seattle's famous statues led by the Chamber of Commerce vice president.

It's a message to Seahawks fans, decorating the statue with jerseys, t-shirts, helmets -- anything and everything green and gold.

And the got the message -- but not for long.

The expert sneak attackers knew the prank wouldn't last long as Seahawks fans teased they'd better take it down.

But not before one big "GO PACK GO!"
