(WITI) -- NASA's first U.S. Earth-observing satellite designed to map global soil moisture, the Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) satellite, will launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket Thursday, January 29th. NASA scientist Dr. Matt Rodell joins FOX6 WakeUp with all the details.
