Packers fans caught in Super Bowl ticket mess still waiting

GREEN BAY (AP) — The National Football League continues to make good on the Super Bowl ticket debacle four years ago in Texas.

Pete D'Amico, of Ellison Bay, and his son were among the hundreds of fans who had tickets to that game, but were initially turned away because temporary seating at Cowboys Stadium was deemed unsafe.

The affected fans were given the option of a monetary reimbursement or tickets to a future Super Bowl of their choice. D'Amico chose a future Super Bowl game.

He tells WLUK-TVthat the NFL has been in contact with him every year. He has until after the NFC Championship Game to decide if he's going. D'Amico was among so many who had high hope for this year in Phoenix. But now, like the Packers, he's focused on Super Bowl 50 in the Santa Clara, California.
