MAYVILLE (WITI) — The Mayville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a police impersonator and armed robbery suspect.

Officials say the incident in question occurred on Friday, January 30th at 11:00 a.m. on Highway TW by Theiler Park in the City of Mayville

The suspect is described as a male, white, in his late 30s or early 40s, approximately 5’10” tall, 190-205 lbs., with short brown hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a tan, long-sleeve shirt with blue jeans, driving a newer model, dark blue Dodge Charger with red and blue lights on the dashboard.

Investigators say the suspect was in possession of a semi-automatic handgun — and should be considered armed and dangerous.
