Two Brookfield East High School staff members hurt in scuffle with student

BROOKFIELD (WITI) -- Two staff members (a teacher and a teacher's aide) from Brookfield East High School were hurt after a physical altercation with a 16-year-old student outside of the school on Wednesday morning, February 4th.

Police tell FOX6 News say around 8:15 a.m. an officer was investigating a property complaint when he was dispatched to the school. Officials say the incident involving the student was very brief -- and the student was detained without incident.

The staff members received minor injuries. No students were hurt.

Police are working with Brookfield East High School staff in this investigation.
