WATCH: Man breaks through icy lake to save dog

(WITI) -- A heroic rescue caught on camera! A 21-year-old man spotted a dog struggling to stay above the icy water in a nearby river in Russia.

In the YouTube video, the man is seen breaking through the ice to make a path to the distressed dog. Once he makes it to the pup, he helps carry the stray dog to a nearby dock.

This man is not only brave in the fact that he saved the dog, but in the freezing cold water as well!
