CHICAGO, IL — Steve McWhorter matched a career-high with 21 points and Akeem Springs added 17 to lead Rob Jeter’s Milwaukee Panthers to a 71-60 win at Illinois-Chicago Thursday night at the UIC Pavilion.

The Panthers (11-16, 6-7 Horizon) earned their first true road win of the season.

Milwaukee’s Matt Tiby  (11 points) scored in double figures for the 18th consecutive contest.
