Search for suspect: Culver’s employee robbed in parking lot of Sussex restaurant

SUSSEX (WITI) — The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a suspect who committed a strong arm robbery at the Culver’s Restaurant in the Village of Sussex on Wednesday, February 18th.

The robbery happened around 8:15 p.m. The victim is a Culver’s employee who was at his vehicle which was in the parking lot.  An unknown man approached the employee and took an unknown amount of cash.  The suspect then fled.

A K9 unit from the City of New Berlin Police Department responded to assist in the search. However, the suspect was not located.

Are you telling me this guy fled on foot from the scene?? No the story does not say anything really. Why would someone rob an employee of a culver’s in Sussex WI? Is that where all the big money is at Culvers??? Was the employee leaving work, coming to work? Did he have a cash deposit he was going to make at a night bank depository?? Details details…
