Judge sentences Alberto Rabell to 13 years in prison for fatal crash

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A Milwaukee County judge sentenced 23-year-old Alberto Rabell on Tuesday, February 24th to 13 years in prison and another seven years of extended supervision for his role in a fatal crash on the city’s south side in September 2014.

The crash happened near 31st and Becher. When police arrived, they found Rabell has struck four vehicles in the incident. A 17-year-old was killed.

Rabell pleaded guilty in January to the following charges: homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and knowingly operating while revoked (cause death). Four other charges against Rabell were dismissed but read into the court record.
