Milwaukee police investigate fatal shooting near 40th & Locust

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning, February 24th on the city’s north side.

It happened near 40th and Locust.

Police say they received a call around 1:30 a.m. about a body in the middle of the street. When police arrived on scene, they found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the head and back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials were not able to find any identification on the victim.

Police say they are seeking suspects in this case.
