On February 19th, shortly before 9:00 p.m., Mount Pleasant police were called out to the 2200 block of Mead Street for a report of shots fired.

There, police learned four to five shots had been fired — two of them striking two different buildings.

Officers also learned of an argument involving a group of people just prior to the shots being heard. A silver or gray four-door vehicle was seen heading north on Mead Street with several occupants.

Several people were seen running north on Mead Street just after the shots were fired, police say.
