CHARGED: 26-year-old Racine man in connection with shots fired incident on Mead Street in Mount Pleasant

RACINE COUNTY (WITI) -- A 26-year-old Racine man has been formally charged in connection with a shots fired incident that occurred in Mount Pleasant on February 19th.

Brandon Lee faces the following charges: first degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of THC.

On February 19th, shortly before 9:00 p.m., Mount Pleasant police were called out to the 2200 block of Mead Street for a report of shots fired.

There, police learned four to five shots had been fired -- two of them striking two different buildings.

No victims were located.

Officers also learned of an argument involving a group of people just prior to the shots being heard. A silver or gray four-door vehicle was seen heading north on Mead Street with several occupants.

Several people were seen running north on Mead Street just after the shots were fired, police say.

Brandon Lee will be in court for his preliminary hearing on March 11th.
