Family able to safely escape house fire near Hubbard and Meinecke

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A Milwaukee family was able to safely escape a house fire overnight.

It happened in a bedroom of a home near Hubbard and Meinecke just before 11:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1st.

At least five people were inside the home at the time.

No one was hurt.

Investigators are looking into the cause of the fire, but it appears to be accidental.
