Can you help? Mequon police seek suspect in armed robbery of BP gas station



MEQUON (WITI) -- Mequon police are seeking the suspect responsible for an armed robbery at the North Shore BP gas station located at 11147 N. Port Washington Road. A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the identification of the suspect.

The suspect reportedly entered the gas station around 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 3rd while the gas station employee was taking the trash out. When the employee returned to the gas station, the suspect produced a gun and demanded property.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6'2" -6'4" feet tall with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, green camouflage pants and black athletic shoes.

The suspect was last seen heading west on foot from the gas station.

The Mequon Police Department is interested in locating a vehicle described as a red Dodge Durango, late 90s or early 2000s model, which was observed in the area around the time of the robbery.
