Admirals play at home this weekend, and on Sunday, March 8th, fans can bring their dogs!

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Fresh off a win over Lake Erie on Wednesday night, March 4th, the Admirals return home for games Friday night, March 6th and Sunday afternoon, March 8th -- including the team’s annual Purina Dog Day Afternoon on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. vs. Oklahoma City.

For just $2 fans can bring their dog to Sunday’s contest and $1 from all dog tickets will go to the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) of Waukesha. All dog tickets, along with their owners, will be in the 400-level where there are watering stations for the dogs during the game. This is the ninth season the Admirals have welcomed dogs to a game and over 500 dogs are expected to attend this year.

Plus, the first 5,000 (human) fans will receive a dog puck, courtesy of Skylark Automatic Vending and prior to the Ads game Milwaukee area firefighters and policemen will drop the puck in the annual Battle of the Badges, presented by 5 Alarm Fire, at 11:30 am. Tickets to the Battle of the Badges are also good for the Ads game.

The Admirals start the weekend on Friday night at 7:00 pm against the Grand Rapids Griffins. The first 3,000 fans will take home a pair of Admirals Boxer Shorts, courtesy of Jockey.

Fans can purchase tickets for any Admirals game by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.milwaukeeadmirals.com.
