MILWAUKEE– Something had to give at the BMO-Harris Bradley Center Saturday afternoon. Both the Marquette Golden Eagles and the Depaul Blue Demons came into the game losers of 6 straight games. After 40 minutes it was the Golden Eagles who were able to snap the streak with a 58-48 win in the regular season finale.

Seniors were honored before the game and appropriately, it was a senior who led the way for the Golden Eagles. Matt Carlino scored a game high 20 points in the win.

Now Marquette will look to try to shock the rest of the Big East in the conference tournament when it gets started with MU facing Seton Hall on Wednesday.
