Business Journal: Jelly Belly Candy Co. seeks to sell Pleasant Prairie warehouse, gift shop

PLEASANT PRAIRIE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Business Journal reports that Jelly Belly Candy Co. is seeking to sell its Pleasant Prairie warehouse and gift shop building. However, it has not confirmed any future plans for its operations.

The California-based company occupies the warehouse at 10100 Jelly Belly Lane in Pleasant Prairie. It has listed the building for sale, confirmed company spokeswoman Jana Sanders Perry.

Jelly Belly officials released the following statement in relation to this news:

"The warehouse property in Pleasant Prairie has gone on the market. Our warehouse tours remain open per usual and we have a full schedule of activities planned for the summer."

    Well isn’t that great. Now they will have to rename the road the warehouse sits on because jelly belly will be gone forever.
