"Reeling" in some smiles! Special Olympians go fishing in 7,800 trout tank

GREEN BAY (WITI) -- Some families "reeled" in smiles Sunday, March 22nd at the annual Special Olympics fishing event in Green Bay.

There were plenty of fish in a 7,800 gallon trout tank for Special Olympians to catch.

Participants got their photo taken and a few fish to bring home.

Organizers say it's the kids that keep them coming back year after year.

"If you see the smiles that the kids do, I mean, that says it all right there. We have kids come here and they're leaving and they're talking about coming back next year. They enjoyed it," volunteer Bob Lenz said.

This was the 26th year of this event.
