The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says the bus had stopped on Highway 54 to pick up a student Tuesday morning, March 24th when it was rear-ended by the car. The car then went into the ditch.

The driver of the car had to be extricated from the vehicle and was flown to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with serious injuries. The driver and passengers on the bus were not hurt.
