Brewers Racing Sausages ready to start the season, and this year, they'll have expanded roles

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- We're less than one week away from the Milwaukee Brewers Opening Day! The Brewers Racing Sausages are ready -- and this year, they'll have expanded roles during the game.

The Brewers know that most fans come out to Miller Park to watch baseball, but there are a lot of other things to see and do.

On Tuesday, March 31st, the Racing Sausages were on hand to show they're ready for the season.

"You are going to find that our mascots are actually out in the concourses a lot more than they have been in years past, so they are kinda excited about that. The sausages are used to racing here at the park, but they're going to be busy outside in the parking lot and inside the park," Brewers VP of Broadcasting and Entertainment Aleta Mercer said.

The scoreboard and video boards were powered up and tested Tuesday to make sure they are ready for Opening Day.

The Brewers take on the Colorado Rockies on April 6th.
