MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee County Parks have announced it will be partnering with Bradford View, LLC — a subsidiary of SURG Restaurant Group, LLC, for Bradford Beach volleyball leagues in 2015.

“Bradford View” has been the concessionaire at the beach since 2012 and is now able to take over volleyball operations.

“We are pleased to join forces with Bradford View and continue to offer beach volleyball,” said Parks Director John Dargle, Jr. “We look forward to a successful summer and will continue to see Bradford Beach as the ultimate summer destination for volleyball and other activities for all.”

“The expansion of our operations at Bradford to include the volleyball is very exciting,” stated Patrick Todd, Divisional Manager of Bradford View. “Our years of experience in the restaurant and entertainment industries have already opened doors in attracting some national organizations to bring major volleyball events to Bradford  Beach in 2015.”

Leagues will run Sunday–Thursday, from May 27th–September 6th, and will feature teams of two and six.

Co-ed, men’s and women’s teams will be available. Levels of play include recreational levels for players new to the game and for more experienced players, a competitive level for those who play to win, and an open level for those competing at the highest level of the sport.

Registration opens April 1st.

Early-Bird Registration is through April 20th — $300 per team for co-ed 6s; $100 per team for co-ed, men’s or women’s 2s. Beginning April 21st, rates will be $350 and $120, respectively.
