For a good cause: 5,000 Final Four commemorative Badgers basketballs to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

INDIANAPOLIS (WITI) — 5,000 Final Four┬ácommemorative Wisconsin Badgers officially licensed basketballs produced by Wilson will be released in an effort to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.

These basketballs are a salute to the winningest team in University of Wisconsin history as they go for their second national title in Indianapolis this weekend. The first was in 1941.

The balls salutes all four of the Wisconsin Final Four appearances that have occurred in Wisconsin history: 1941, 2000, 2014 and 2015. The balls also note that this is the first time in Wisconsin history that Wisconsin has been named a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The balls will be updated if Wisconsin beats Kentucky, making it to the national championship game.

The balls cost $99 each, and they come with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
