Police in Fort Atkinson looking for Milwaukee men accused of passing counterfeit checks

FORT ATKINSON (WITI) -- Police in Fort Atkinson are looking for two Milwaukee men, accused of passing fraudulent/counterfeit checks.

The checks were all passed at Premier Bank locations -- two checks in Fort Atkinson, two in Jefferson, one in Johnson Creek and one in Sullivan. Each check was over $3,000, police say, and the checks had legitimate account and routing numbers for a company located in Jefferson -- Anderson Machining Service.

Police are looking for a 25-year-old man and a 51-year-old man -- both from Milwaukee. The 51-year-old has a warrant out of Racine for uttering/forgery.
