On a roll! Greenfield Fire Department shares toilet paper winnings with the community

GREENFIELD (WITI) -- The Greenfield Fire Department is on a roll! It received a special delivery and today, the firemen gave half of it away.

The fire department won a year's supply of toilet paper, courtesy of Charmin.

Greenfield Fire Department was nominated for the Charmin Relief Project. The toilet paper maker called the nationwide effort a way to 'save the butts that save our butts."

Greenfield's fire chief tells FOX6 News they plan to share the wealth.

"We received a lot of toilet paper, 6 cases worth, and we thought what better way then to pay it forward once again and share it with the community? So we gave half of our stock to the Salvation Army," said Greenfield Fire Chief, Jon Kohn.

The Greenfield Fire Department was nominated for the honor by a resident. They are all very grateful for the nomination and now the win.
