Attempted homicide: Called out for cutting incident, Racine police find two victims with serious injuries

RACINE (WITI) -- Racine police are looking for the suspect(s) responsible for an attempted homicide that occurred early Sunday, April 19th.

Just after 6:00 a.m., police were called out to the 800 block of Jackson Street for a possible cutting incident.

There, they found a male and a female suffering from serious injuries. They were taken to the hospital -- where the female is being treated for potentially life-threatening injuries.

The victims have been identified as 59-year-old Michael Cunningham and 30-year-old Vallen Coleman.

The Racine Police Department's "Major Crimes" unit has been activated in this case due to the severity of injuries suffered.

The investigation is ongoing.
