Police: Man found dead in home near 19th & Teutonia, roommate in custody

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Monday morning, April 27th in the 1900 block of W. Finn Place.

Officers responded to the scene and found a 24-year-old Milwaukee man unresponsive in a home. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy performed Tuesday determined the victim died as a result of blunt force trauma.

The victim is identified as Jonathan Gill.

Gill’s roommate, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man who has been taken into custody, is suspected of striking Gill several times during an argument.

Charges will be presented to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
