One shot, injured during home invasion on Port Washington Avenue near Keefe

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a home on the city’s north side.

Police were called to a home on Port Washington Avenue near Keefe just before 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 29th.

Investigators say a 37-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot during a home invasion.The victim was hit in the leg and is expected to survive. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two other occupants of the home were taken into custody for weapons and drug-related charges.

Police continue to search for the shooting suspect.

    The way to stop these type of home invasions is to have your .357 loaded and ready to go and then when entry to the home is made, begin shooting the person or persons and don’t stop until you stop them permanently….

    Like others have said, we are going to get a trolley though…& really thats the important thing here. I’d ask why flynn doesn’t do the decent thing & step down but I guess most would see right through that oxymoron.
