Mark your calendars: Wisconsin State Fair announces Bank Mutual Amphitheater lineup

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- Wisconsin State Fair and Bank Mutual officials are excited to announce the lineup of headliners slated for the Bank Mutual Amphitheater during the 2015 State Fair.

The amphitheater lineup will kick off on a high note on Thursday, Aug. 6 with A Capellooza featuring Tonic Sol-fa, The Sound Exchange and Blend. The first weekend will feature State Fair favorites Here Come The Mummies on Friday, Aug. 7 and Saturday, Aug. 8 followed by Kids From Wisconsin on Sunday, Aug. 9.

Monday, Aug. 10 and Tuesday Aug. 11, the Grammy nominated Alex Meixner Band will rock the stage, followed on Wednesday, Aug. 12 by country singer and popular TV show “The Voice” contestant Gwen Sebastian. No stranger to State Fair, Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone will perform Thursday, Aug. 13 and Friday, Aug. 14.

Saturday, Aug. 15 will be a big night at the Amphitheater when the female rap group, Salt-N-Pepa takes the stage. The lineup will wrap up on Sunday, Aug. 16 with the long running tradition of the Mr. & Ms. State Fair Physique Championships.

The stage will also feature family-friendly entertainment daily during the fair, including additional performances by Kids from Wisconsin as well as Lizzy - The Dream Girl, the annual Pom Pon Competition and more!

The 2015 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U.S. Cellular, will take place Thursday, Aug. 6 – Sunday, Aug. 16.
