Olive Garden's new breadstick sandwiches include unlimited breadsticks

Olive Garden announced Monday they are building on their iconic breadsticks. Introducing breadstick sandwiches.

Starting June 1, lunch customers can order a chicken parmigiana or meatball breadstick sandwich.

The sandwiches will, of course, include unlimited breadsticks.

Jeff Smith, a company investor, made the announcement on Sunday. Darden Restaurants confirmed the news in a press release on Monday.

Justin Sikora, a Darden representative, said the breadsticks will be shorter and wider than the traditional breadsticks. However, the recipe has not changed.
