Engaged couple reacts to being 'aged' decades using makeup

ST. LOUIS (WITI) -- Every couple dreams of getting married and growing old together. A young couple was given a rare opportunity to "grow old together" in just a few hours.

The Cut's latest video is part of the Field Day series and features Tavis and Kristie, a couple less than a month from their wedding.

Kristie was born and raised in St. Louis before leaving for New York City after high school. Tavis was born in Boston and also went to New York City for college. The couple, together eight years, first met at Wagner College. They will get married in St. Louis on Friday.

The emotional "100 Years of Beauty: Aging" experiment starts with Tavis and Kristie revealing they are about to get married. A team of makeup artists spent hours aging the couple from their late 20s to their 50s, 70s and 90s.

"My mom thinks this is the coolest thing ever," Kristie said. "She said 'What a treat for us? Because we'll be gone when you're that age. To get to see that...' It's a neat way to think about it."

Their 50s

"I hope you look like this. You look fantastic," Tavis said.

"Yeah, I'm going to look just like my mother one day," Kristie said.

Tavis also noticed that he needs to use sunscreen. The couple mentioned they will probably have teenagers and be on the "PTA."

Their 70s

"I'm pretty happy with the way she looks," Tavis said.

"I look like my Grandma!" Kristie said.

"I can't help but think about what the potential last 50 years were. To see her look like this makes me think of where we have gone to be next to each other looking like this," Tavis said.

Their 90s

"You look fantastic. You don't look a day over 75," Tavis says.

"I would want to make sure he knew how much I loved him and how important he has been to me," Kristie said.
