Family and friends mourn loss of Anthony Orosco, victim of deadly hit-and-run

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A vigil is held for a man killed in a hit-and run. 59-year-old Anthony Orosco was hit and killed at 13th and Harrison last Friday night, May 8th.

Family and friends gathered Friday to honor Orosco's memory, and thank the strangers who helped catch the man suspected of killing him.

Orosco is an army veteran and a grandfather.

34-year-old Alvaro Canseco Hernandez is the alleged driver who struck Orosco. Prosecutors say his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit at the time of the crash.

Investigators say he didn't stop at the scene, and that a second vehicle then ran over Orosco.
