Victim suffers gunshot wound near 25th and Auer, drives to hospital for treatment

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that took place near N. 25th Street and W. Auer Avenue.

The shooting occurred Saturday night, May 16th.

Police say one person was shot but was able to transport themselves the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities do not have any suspects in custody at this time, but have confirmed this shooting is not related to the incident near 29th and Burleigh where five people were shot while attending a vigil.
