One shot, injured outside bar on Milwaukee’s south side, two in custody

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside a bar on Milwaukee’s south side late Sunday night, May 17th.

Police say a 27-year-old Milwaukee man was shot following an altercation outside a bar called People’s Inn near 12th and Maple.  The victim was conveyed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Two suspects, a 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old man, both from Milwaukee, were taken into custody.  MPD will present charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office in the coming days.
