Milwaukee police: Two squads collide near 27th & Auer while en route to foot pursuit

MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a crash involving two squad cars that happened around 11:35 p.m. on Monday, May 18th in the intersection of N. 27th Street and W. Auer Avenue.

According to police, a squad car from District Five and a squad car from the Neighborhood Task Force collided while en route to a foot pursuit.

The four officers in both squad cars (two in each car) were taken to the hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.

    Love the ambition. These officers were so intent on taking down a criminal that they rendered one another useless. I’ll take that enthusiasm any day. Now we just have to work on catching the suspects. One step at a time I suppose.
