Wisconsin DOT: Closure schedule for I-94 for WIS 67 Bridge demolition in Waukesha Co. revised

WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- With demolition work on the WIS 67 Bridge over I-94 progressing faster than anticipated Monday night, May 18th, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is moving up its remaining freeway and ramp closure schedule.

If work progresses this week as planned, there will be no freeway closures next week as had been anticipated.

Safety to the traveling public is of the utmost priority. The safest way to demolish the bridge is to close the freeway underneath and the nearby ramp.

All closures are weather dependent and subject to change
