Peralta out 4-6 weeks, Lucroy, Segura return soon

Milwaukee -- The Brewers announced on Monday that pitcher Willie Peralta would be sidelined 4 to 6 weeks with a strained oblique.

Peralta, who left Friday night's game in Atlanta with tightness in his side, wasn't even expected to miss a start; this is a blow to a struggling team that gave up a 7-run 6th inning to the Giants in their 8-4 Memorial Day loss at Miller Park.

Catcher Jonathan Lucroy could return as soon as Monday June 1st from his fractured left big toe injury, which has shelved him since April 20th.

Shortstop Jean Segura's aiming to return from the D.L. Friday after suffering a broken pinky finger.
