Pedestrian struck by vehicle near 92nd and Oklahoma; injuries appear to be minor

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- West Allis fire officials tell FOX6 News a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near S. 92nd Street and Oklahoma Avenue on Wednesday, May 27th.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m.

We're told injuries to the person who was struck appear to be minor.

Fire officials say a West Allis Fire Department ambulance was actually transporting a patient to St. Luke's Hospital in connection with an unrelated incident when the crew came upon the pedestrian who had been struck. A paramedic got out and began rendering aid to the pedestrian as the ambulance continued on to St. Luke's Hospital.

No further details have yet been released.
