According to the criminal complaint, while officers were searching the residence, Mueller asked if the sheriff's office "got bored with this stuff and that marijuana was a harmless thing." Mueller then went on to ask one of the officers if they "realized that there are bigger problems and that he wasn't showing off that he wasn't dealing or going crazy."

Agents located approximately 724.4 grams of THC in the form of what is described as "butter," numerous packaging materials for distribution, two digital scales, and marijuana paraphernalia. Authorities also discovered Xanax in Anderson's room and also in Mueller's wallet, according to the complaint.

Both Mueller and Anderson were transported to the Racine County Jail.
