Fire crews respond to Motel 6 fire in Glendale, authorities say no one injured

GLENDALE — The North Shore Fire Department responded to a fire at the Motel 6 in Glendale on Friday, May 29th.

Officials say the fire located at 5485 N. Port Washington Road just south of Silver Spring Drive, was called in by a third-floor tenant that had smelled smoke.

Firefights arrived on scene and found a fire in the bathroom that ended up extending into the attic. There is extensive damage to the hotel’s third floor.

Authorities say no one was injured in this fire.
