Milwaukee woman arrested for driving drunk, had four kids in car

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 32-year-old Yaletha Ramsey for allegedly driving drunk with four children in her car early Friday morning, May 29th.
Just after 3 a.m. a deputy stopped Ramsey for lane deviation and going 40 m.p.h. in a 50 m.p.h. zone on I-43 southbound at Rosedale Avenue.
Ramsey was arrested for DUI-1st with minor children in the car, one age seven and three age five. She tested a .17 on the intoximeter. Ramsey did not have a valid driver’s license.
The children were taken to the patrol substation until Child Protective Services placed the children with relatives at about 5:30 a.m.
If convicted of this misdemeanor charge, Ramsey faces up to 60 days in jail.
