Milwaukee police: Double shooting near 29th & Cherry leaves one dead, one injured

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double shooting that occurred near the intersection of N. 29th and W. Cherry at approximately 10:58 p.m. Thursday, May 28th.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are unclear at this time. According to police, the first officers on the scene found two men that had been shot while still seated in their vehicle. One of the males in his 20s suffered a non-life-threatening injury, The second victim, identified as 27-year-old Tony Bouravanh, died from his injuries.

Police say their investigation is ongoing.
