Brewers sign 16 players from 2015 First-Year Player Draft

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the signings of 16 players from the 2015 First-Year Player Draft.

The list includes first-round pick outfielder Trent Clark (15th overall, Richland High School-Texas), second-round pick right-handed pitcher Cody Ponce (55th overall, Cal Poly Pomona University) and third-round pick right-handed pitcher Nash Walters (90th overall, Lindale High School-Texas).

In addition, the team announced that they have signed two players who were not selected in the draft. The Brewers selected a total of 41 players in the draft including 26 pitchers, 8 infielders, 3 outfielders and 4 catchers.

The announcements were made by Vice President of Amateur Scouting/Special Assistant to the General Manager Ray Montgomery.
