Election Day: Chris Kapenga to face Sherryll Shaddock in special election for Paul Farrow's Senate seat

MADISON — Three Republicans faced off Tuesday, June 23rd in a special election to replace state Sen. Paul Farrow, who is leaving his Senate seat to work as Waukesha County executive.

State Rep. Chris Kapenga, of Delafield, technical college administrator and former police sergeant Brian Dorow and physician Mikael Langner faced each other in Tuesday's Republican primary.

Kapenga was the winner of the Republican primary with 52% of the vote. He will advance to face Democrat Sherryll Shaddock on July 21st.

 

Farrow is resigning his Senate seat on July 17th. The winner's term will run through 2018.
