COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio Gov. John Kasich officially became the 16th declared Republican presidential candidate on Tuesday, July 21st — making his kickoff for his campaign at the Ohio State University.

“I am here to ask you for your prayers, for your support…because I have decided to run for president of the United States,” Kasich said.
