Caught on camera: Two suspects rob Family Dollar store; one poses as regular customer

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are asking the public to help identify two armed robbery suspects who are accused of robbing a Family Dollar store near 79th and Burleigh around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22nd.

The first suspect entered the store talking on a cell phone -- and acting as if he was a regular customer. He brought items to the sales counter. At that time, the second suspect entered the store and pointed a gun at the cashier. The cashier placed cigarettes in one bag and money in a second bag. The suspects grabbed the bags and fled from the store on foot.



The first suspect is described as a male, black, in his late teens to early twenties, 5’9”-6’ tall, with a slim build, and a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a pink baseball cap with a multi-colored design on the front and bill, a white long-sleeved pullover shirt, and jeans with a “True Religion” logo on the rear pockets.

The second suspect is described as a male, black, in his late teens to early twenties, 5’7”-5’9” tall, with a slim build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a charcoal gray hooded sweatshirt, light gray sweatpants, and black tennis shoes.
